About Claudia Sanchez Bajo, PhD

Prof Dr Claudia Sanchez Bajo, PhD in Development Studies (International Institute of Social Studies, The Netherlands), Fellow Researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Economics. Guest Professor at the University of Kassel in the last semester of 2018 and, in Summer 2016, Visiting Scholar at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, at the University of Texas in Austin. As First Chair in Cooperative Enterprises at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Winnipeg, Canada, I developed full courses among other activities, including teaching to about 75 students per term, research and community engagement, to build from scratch the Specialization on Cooperative Enterprises within the Business Department. My research is currently focused on cooperative entrepreneurship, development and local peace building. Since September 2017, I have been ICA CCR executive member, the International Cooperative Alliance committee of cooperative research.
